The Azalea Inn Bed & Breakfast
The Azalea Inn Bed & Breakfast is a Stick Eastlake home built in 1873. It is located at 203 E. Dixon St. in the Historic District of Jefferson Texas, that features the gingerbread trim of the Eastlake style. In 2007 the Azalea Inn underwent a complete renovation featuring new paint (6 vibrant colors) and a new roof. The gardens have been awarded "Garden of the Month" and were selected to be on the 2008 Pilgrimage garden tour. We have ample off street parking and a patio area just for you to enjoy.
Experience of a Lifetime.
Staying at a B&B should be an experience of a lifetime, a cozy room, a comfortable bed, innkeepers that see to your every need and of course a scrumptious gourmet breakfast served in the privacy of your room. ”It is quite possibly the best one you have ever had,” said one of our guests after staying at the Azalea Inn.
As soon as you step out or your carriage (sorry I mean car) you are immersed in the vibrant collection of colors of our inn. Then when you enter the front foyer you are suddenly caught up in the romance of Jefferson’s past. In 1873 the Azalea Inn was built as the home of the owner of the first foundry in Texas. Although it was moved from Marshall Texas to save its demise, it still has the charm of a true Eastlake home. Welcome to the Azalea Inn.
The Azalea Inn consists of 3 rooms in the "Main House" of which 2 overlook the courtyard. Each guestroom is tastefully & uniquely furnished with period furnishings and modern amenities. Each has a private bath with shower.
