If the history of the TEXAS RANGERS fascinates you, then the Perry Room is the one for you. It's named after my great great grandfather Cicero Rufus Perry who served Texas from 1835 to 1880. This historic room features a hand made Queen size bed incorporating a fireplace over mantel from the Culberson house here in Jefferson. Charles A. Culberson served as the 21st. Governor of Texas from January 15, 1895-January 17, 1899. As with all of our rooms, breakfast is served in the privacy of your room between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. There is a small sitting area overlooking the courtyard that has 2 chairs and a small table where you can enjoy your breakfast. For your enjoyment and comfort there is cable TV/VCR/DVD, alarm clock, quarter sawn heart pine floors and ceiling fan. This room has the largest bath room at our inn and the only room with a private outside entrance from the covered back porch.
